What should you do if your home’s listing expired in 2017? Today, we have some advice for you if your home didn’t sell last year and you’re looking to change that in 2018. Ultimately, you need to re-evaluate your position in the real estate market.
  1. Reconsider your asking price. If you didn’t receive any offers on your property, you’re probably 10% overpriced. If you did receive some interest but still didn’t get any offers, you’re probably 5% overpriced. A revaluation based on today’s real estate market is critical for you to estimate the best price for your home.
  2. Pay attention to buyer feedback. In order to get top dollar for your home, you may need to make a few upgrades and improvements. In the end, we don’t just want one buyer to be interested in your home, but rather multiple buyers. That will improve your bottom line.
  3. Switch listing agents. It could be that your current agent isn’t doing enough to market your home. Our team has that covered.

You need to re-evaluate your position in the real estate market.
